On behalf of the Building Transformations Board of Directors, we are writing to share an important update regarding our Certification Program.
Over the past several months, we have been carefully evaluating the Certification Program to determine how it can best serve our members, align with Building Transformations’ mission and strategic priorities, reflect current industry needs and provide meaningful value to participants.
While this work is underway, certification application processing has been placed on hold. This pause allows us to complete the necessary planning and consultation to guide the program’s future direction.
For applicants with submissions in progress, your applications remain in our system, and we will contact you once next steps are confirmed. If you prefer not to wait, you may contact certification@buildingtransformations.org to discuss available options, including a refund if desired.
For those who have already earned a Building Transformations certification, your credentials remain valid and recognized. As part of the ongoing improvements, we will share next steps and new opportunities for certified professionals to maintain and further develop their designation once the review is complete.
To our assessors, we extend our sincere appreciation for your time, expertise, and commitment to the program. We will be in touch soon with updates on how these enhancements may impact the assessment process and future opportunities to contribute.
We anticipate sharing further information in early 2026. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we thoughtfully consider the future of the Certification Program and its role in advancing our industry.
