Join us online on September 9, at 12:00 PM ET for an exclusive member-only virtual event presented by Augmenta.
Most of the AI tools hitting the construction market are built on LLMs, and for a lot of problems, that approach works: spec querying, submittal processing, bid analysis, job progress reports, and more. But LLMs don't understand geometry and building is, at its core, a complex 3D spatial problem. The information that matters most isn't text, it's in a ceiling grid with sub-contractors competing for the same 18 inches, in a raceway system that has to be coordinated, code-compliant, prefab-ready, and actually buildable. When you apply an LLM to a geometry problem, mistakes don't live in a document, they show up onsite as clashes, rework, and schedule delays that compound exponentially.
Spatial AI is needed because complex 3D environments require a different kind of solution entirely.
Join us to discover how Augmenta and the Augmenta Construction Platform (ACP) is pioneering a new category of AI: spatial AI, purpose-built for construction. ACP reasons about geometry, constraints, code requirements, and constructability all at once, automatically generating optimized building system designs. ACP today is shifting the design of electrical systems into an hours-long process instead of weeks-long, and will soon offer the same for mechanical and plumbing systems, both accelerating and connecting the design process.
What you'll learn:
- What spatial AI is, and why it's fundamentally different from other LLM-based AI tools
- Case studies on how ACP applies spatial reasoning to automate complex electrical design
- The real-world impact: Faster design cycles, more productive coordination meetings, time back for plan and spec review, and increased downstream efficiency
