Biographie

Gregg Wallace is startup advisor and early-stage investor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the past three years, he opened and established Hilti's new startup-focused outpost in California. Previously he was CMO of Hilti Spain after prior roles in Corporate Strategy and Product Management at the company's Liechtenstein-based headquarters. Gregg began his career as a consultant with Bain & Company. He holds a BA from Davidson College and an MBA from Wharton.

David Bowcott

Global Director, Growth, Innovation, and Insight Aon’s Global Construction & Infrastructure Group (GCIG) - AON

David oversees growth, innovation and insights for Aon’s Global Construction & Infrastructure Group. To drive growth David has been given jurisdiction over generating innovation and insights for clients and partners using the market-leading volume of business Aon transacts within the construction and infrastructure sector. David's primary focus is utilizing his position to develop industry leading tools and methodologies to allow clients and partners to achieve optimal risk profiles for their companies, projects and assets. These tools and methodologies are housed within four areas: i) contractual advisory, ii) operational advisory, iii) technology & data advisory, and iv) risk finance advisory. David is a board member and/or advisor to various construction and asset management associations and thought-leadership groups like the Canadian Construction Association (Advisory Council), the Institute of Asset Management, Alpaca Venture Capital (Expert Network), the Built Environment Innovators Network, Construction Digital Transformation Alliance (CDTA), Builtworld’s Adoption Leaders 50, Various McKinsey Roundtable Sessions and the Predictive Analytics Strategic Council (PASC). Further, David is a regular contributor to several construction and technology publications including Harvard Business Review, Engineering News Record, On-Site Magazine (columnist), World Economic Forum Community Reports and Aon One Briefs. Finally, David is chair of Aon GCIG’s Editorial Board which creates construction and asset management thought leadership content and Aon GCIG’s Technology Assessment Panel (TAP) which seeks out risk mitigating innovations in technology, contractual models and engineering solutions.

Nick Kurth

Manager, Virtual Construction - PCL Construction Enterprises

Nick is responsible for leading PCL’s innovation team as well as research and development efforts and initiatives across North America. Since beginning his career in construction 15 years ago, Nick has worked on projects ranging in value from $40 million to $1 billion. While a jack of all trades, Nick primarily focuses on increasing PCL’s implementation of integrated technologies on projects, and how these technologies benefit the pre-construction, estimating, planning, management, and field execution project phases. His passion for adopting emerging technologies that improve the construction process makes him a valuable member of PCL’s management team. Nick holds two bachelor degrees in architecture, and a Building Information Modeling Certification from the Association of General Contractors.

Thano Lambrinos

Vice President, Smart Building Technology, Digital Innovation - QuadReal

Thano Lambrinos has over 15 years' experience in the construction and building technologies space and leverages digital transformation learnings across vertical markets to drive change in commercial real estate. As VP of Smart Building Technology, he leads QuadReal’s Digital Innovation team and is focused on the overall digital strategy in new real estate developments, and within existing built environments - supporting QuadReal’s digital aspirations across all asset classes, both in Canada and internationally.
