Revizto’s Model & Object Properties API, MCP Server and Developer Portal open live coordination data, issues, clashes and object metadata to any tool or AI platform a team already trusts. Inference runs inside the customer’s own environment so sensitive project data never leaves their control.
Construction projects generate huge amounts of valuable information: clashes, issues, markups, drawings, and detailed information about every object in a model. The problem was that this information was difficult for people outside the BIM or VDC team to access.
If a project manager, estimator, site team, or executive needed a simple answer, they often had to ask a specialist. That specialist would open the model, find the information, export it to Excel or another format, clean it up, and send it back. A simple question could turn into hours of manual work.
This created a bottleneck and meant that highly skilled technical people were spending their time finding and preparing data instead of doing higher-value work.
At the same time, a second challenge was emerging: AI. Teams wanted to use AI to get faster answers from their project data, but they faced two problems. First, without a direct connection to project data, everyone was experimenting with different tools and workflows. Second, companies had legitimate concerns about security, privacy, data ownership, and where their project data would go when using AI.
The challenge, therefore, was bigger than simply making project data easier to access. We needed to make project information available to the people and tools that need it, while giving companies the control and security required to use AI with confidence.
In July 2026, Revizto introduced three connected capabilities that make project data easier to access, analyze, and connect to other tools.
1. Revizto API – Make project data accessible
The Model & Object Properties API gives teams direct access to detailed model information, including materials, system types, fire ratings, and quantities, without opening Revizto.
Building on existing API capabilities for issues, clashes, 2D/3D metadata, and user management, teams can now connect project information directly to tools for cost estimation, progress tracking, procurement, facility management, and reporting.
2. MCP Server – Ask your project questions using AI
The MCP Server connects a customer’s preferred AI such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or a private LLM directly to live Revizto project data.
Instead of manually searching or exporting data, users can ask questions such as, “Which fire doors are missing certification?” or “What are the top unresolved clashes?” and receive answers based on current project information.
3. Developer Portal – Make integrations easier
The Developer Portal uses OAuth 2.0 and self-service app registration, replacing manual access-code management and simplifying how teams build and manage integrations.
Together, these capabilities replace manual exports, spreadsheets, and repetitive data entry with direct, structured access to project information while customers retain control over which tools they connect and where their data is processed.
