Six members of Turner Fleischer Architects attended Autodesk University to be updated on the future of the construction industry as it relates to BIM. Almost 10,000 creative design and visualization specialists descended on Las Vegas December 1-3 to learn the latest about BIM from the best experts in the field. Sessions included hands-on product training labs, case studies, instructional demos, panels and roundtables for peer-to-peer sharing and thought leadership on the next generation of architectural design and engineering technologies. Elizabeth Morison, one of Turner Fleischer’s BIM Transformation Leads said “It is a rewarding experience to see how our efforts to support and advance BIM within our work align with our larger industry peers in North America.” Turner Fleisher has been sending a staff team to the Autodesk annual conference since 2005. Ellen Bensky, a TF principal, summed up the experience for her five co-attendees as “exhausting, but invaluable in furthering our commitment to fully integrate BIM into our thinking, design practices and project delivery.”
