Toronto – (December 11, 2017) - Canada BIM Council (CanBIM) and buildingSMART Canada (bSc) are pleased to announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will align national efforts and bring both organizations closer together, unifying Canadian BIM initiatives.
buildingSMART Canada and CanBIM met in Ottawa on Wednesday November 22nd to determine the best way to align the two organizations.
The MOU aims to create synergy between the two organizations, which will continue to operate independently but in the spirit of cooperation. Over the next 12 months CanBIM and bSC will work jointly to develop and maintain a set of initiatives, updating the Roadmap to Lifecycle Building Information Modeling in the Canadian AECOO Community with the intent to move BIM in Canada forward.
Signed at the offices of the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) the MOU will bring both organizations closer together and will lead to a cohesive strategy to align and direct the Canadian BIM initiative.

L'initiative canadienne de BIM fait un grand pas en avant
Toronto - (le 11 décembre 2017) - Le Conseil de BIM du Canada (CanBIM) et buildingSMART Canada (bSc) sont heureux d'annoncer la signature d'un protocole d'entente qui harmonisera les efforts nationaux et rapprochera les deux organismes, unifiant les initiatives du BIM canadien.
buildingSMART Canada et CanBIM se sont rencontrés à Ottawa, le mercredi 22 novembre, pour déterminer la meilleure façon d'aligner les deux organismes.
Le protocole d'entente vise à créer une synergie entre les deux organismes qui continueront à fonctionner indépendamment mais dans un esprit de coopération. Au cours des 12 prochains mois, CanBIM et bSC travailleront ensemble pour élaborer et maintenir un ensemble d'initiatives, mettant à jour la Feuille de route pour la modélisation du cycle de vie du bâtiment dans la communauté canadienne de l'AECOO avec l'intention de faire progresser le BIM au Canada.
Signé aux bureaux de l'Association canadienne de la construction (ACC), le protocole d'entente rapprochera les deux organismes et mènera à une stratégie cohérente pour harmoniser et diriger l'initiative canadienne de BIM.
