CanBIM Director & Secretary, Ian Trudeau, Entuitive Corporation and CanBIM Director and Vice-President Thomas Strong, EllisDon Construction were recently interivewed by Canadian Consulting Engineer Magazine about the "BIM Revolution". The article is an overview of the current climate for BIM in Canada, pointing out that BIM is not only coming, but is already being used by a large portion of the Canadian AECOO industry. There are some challenges to using BIM of course and not all disciplines are fully realizing the benefits, however that is changing with the introduction and rapid deployment of software and technological improvements.
