After receiving multiple International requests to collaborate or share information, CanBIM is excited to announce its first International MOU with the South African BIM Institute. Vaughn Harris, Executive Director, South Africa BIM Institute and Scott Chatterton, CanBIM Board Member and Chair of CanBIM Designer Steering Committee discussed the opportunity to collaborate between the two organizations, the pact was quickly formed thereafter. Henceforth, the two organizations will share information and develop internationally oriented documentation and where possible collaborate on events and other activities surrounding the advocacy of BIM in the respective markets.
"This is an exciting time for CanBIM, as interest for our Certification begins to expand within Canada we are now looking at international opportunities to collaborate and nurture robust relationships for the future" states Gerry Lattmann, CanBIM Executive Director.
