Building Transformations is pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals is now open for the 2026 Toronto Summit, taking place November 4-5, 2026 at MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, Ontario.
We are inviting industry leaders, practitioners, researchers, and innovators to submit presentation proposals that share practical insights, case studies, emerging technologies, and collaborative approaches that advance digital transformation across Canada's AECO industry.
About the Summit
The 2026 Toronto Summit will bring together Canada's leading owners, contractors, engineers, architects, technology providers, researchers, educators, and government representatives. Through thought-provoking presentations, interactive discussions, and networking, we will explore the technologies, strategies, and partnerships shaping the future of design and construction.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking engaging, educational sessions that provide attendees with actionable knowledge and real-world experience. Topics of interest include:
Preference will be given to proposals that include measurable outcomes, practical implementation strategies, and lessons learned that attendees can apply within their own organizations. Product demonstrations or sales-focused presentations will not be considered.
Session Formats
Technical Presentation: 30-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of audience Q&A (approximately three selected).
Interactive Workshop: 35-minute facilitated, hands-on session designed to encourage audience participation and discussion (approximately three selected).
All selected speakers will receive one (1) complimentary Summit registration. Travel and accommodation expenses remain the responsibility of the presenter(s).
How to Submit
Submit your proposal as a single PDF to events@buildingtransformations.org with the subject line: 2026 Toronto Industry Summit - Proposal.
Proposals must include: presentation title, session format, abstract (max 500 words), learning objectives, speaker bio(s) (max 150 words per speaker), and contact information.
