CANBIM a BIM council of Canada hosted its annual Conference event at the
Sheraton Suites in Calgary downtown. It was a great event, shout out to the CanBIM management Team. Putting all the heads in the BIM industry together - Architects, Engineers or Builders, the event was made a success with great efforts done by Gerry Lattmann, the brain behind the CANBIM Council.
This group is educating the industry about the latest technologies in the Construction & Designing Industry.
With the evolving technology the followed-up methods like workflow & delivery evolves was the take away from CANBIM ‘s event. New Projects coming up in the Calgary, AB area are taking advantage from the Buzz spread by CANBIM & the owners are getting a better understanding of the adoption of BIM.
Knowledge is the key for adopting the BIM technology. All trades, vendors & contractors needs to be equally knowledgeable about the benefits & challenges of this new technology.
There are numerous challenges with this technology. Coming to CANBIM Conferences & events helps to clear the clouds. There is a lot of material available online as well, if anyone is interested in knowing more about BIM. However it can never take away the one on one chatting that takes place at these events while grabbing a bite & listening to one of your favourite speakers.
