Please apply only if you meet the following mandatory pre-qualification criteria:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, with 3 years of experience with a mix of Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Multi-Family, and/or Mixed-Use projects, OR
  • 2-year diploma in Interior Design Technology, with 5 years of experience with a mix of Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Multi-Family, and/or Mixed-Use projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and hands-on, using collaborative digital workflows (3D deliverables within Revit, and BIM360).

In addition, the ideal candidate will have strong design and technical skills and the ability to:

  • Learn, adopt, and adapt quickly.
  • Use a radical common-sense approach (lean and critical thinking that challenges established practices) to solve problems and action appropriate results.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize time to see the project through from start to finish.
  • Translate design intent into construction detailing with high attention to detail, including construction detailing, coordination of consultants, and milestone drawing reviews.
  • Interface collaboratively with clients and present design solutions objectively.
  • Produce successful programming and planning documents.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, collaborators, addressing applicable codes, and authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Conduct efficient and effective construction contract administration.
  • Learn more about assisting clients and colleagues in a transition away from 2D content/deliverables and towards 3D and dFAB (see our website for more info on the direction we’re heading).
