Hugh is general manager of Crosswalk by CSI, an API that serves industry standards to software providers and construction industry professionals. Prior to this, Hugh founded & sold Aquinas, a software company in VR, and AI voice. Hugh is author of The Construction Technology Handbook, Host of the Data in Construction Podcast, and the Data in Construction Webinar series.

Bill Bennington

National Quality Manager - PCL Construction

After joining PCL in 2005 as a field engineer, Bill has spent time in a variety of roles, including project manager and virtual construction manager. Drawing from his time in operations, Bill understands the complex challenges project teams face, and works closely with field operations to improve efficiency and quality through the use of innovation and technology. In his role as national quality manager, Bill focuses on enhancing operational excellence and is responsible for leading the implementation of PCL’s Quality Management Program, sharing best practices, and discovering new ways to improve the profitable execution of projects across PCL’s Operations.

Hamzah Shanbari

Director of Innovation - Haskell

Hamzah is the Director of Innovation at Haskell where he oversees vetting and testing new applications of technology. Hamzah joined Haskell in 2016 shortly after completing his Ph.D. in Design, Construction and Planning from the University of Florida. Started out as a Virtual Construction Specialist, Hamzah conducted several successful BIM coordination efforts. He also led innovation efforts in virtual and augmented reality as well as sUAS processes and applications. In his academic years, Hamzah published and presented several conference and journal papers on laser scanning, sUAS, augmented reality and construction management education.

Ryan Hittie

Innovation Specialist - Brasfield & Gorrie

Manager of UAS program consisting of 39 aircraft and more than 30 FAA Part 107 certified pilots. Oversee fleet management, pilot training, and data collection/processing. Currently investigating the integration of innovative technologies into UAS workflow to create a more productive and safe job site.
