Chet Shah is the Senior Executive Vice President of Metrolinx’s Integrated Delivery Division. In this role Chet is responsible for ensuring seamless integration between Metrolinx’s Capital and Operating objectives to execute on the organization's GO Expansion Program.
Chet oversees an extensive portfolio which includes Metrolinx’s GO Expansion Sponsor functions, Real Estate Groups, and the groups providing protection to Metrolinx’s operating corridors.
Chet’s division plays a critical role in driving the investment thesis behind Metrolinx’s generational capital expansion program while ensuring that these investments are balanced with providing consistent operating service across the established network. This mandate helps serve an integration function across the Metrolinx organization to ensure that the agency delivers exceptional service to its customers, while continuing to execute on its expansion mandate.
Prior to joining Metrolinx, Chet served as Managing Director at Colliers Project Leaders, where he advised capital owners across Canada on how to optimally deliver on their infrastructure programs. In this role Chet helped to shape go-to-market strategies, developed active risk mitigation methods and optimized transaction structuring approaches with the public and private sector partners.
Prior to Colliers Project Leaders, Chet held progressive leadership roles with Hatch and Infrastructure Ontario. In these roles, Chet was responsible for structuring P3 partnerships and leading the delivery of expansive capital and real estate programs across North America.
Chet holds a B.B.A from the University of Toronto, and an M.B.A from the Rotman School of Management.
