Biographie

Helen Goodland is an architect registered in the UK and has an MBA from the University of BC. She brings over 30 years of experience working on transformative solutions for the real estate and construction industries in Canada and around the world. She is also a compelling public speaker, facilitator and educator. Helen is firmly committed to achieving truly sustainable buildings within the next decade. She is also passionate about advancing leadership opportunities for women in construction technology. To this end, she participates on numerous boards and committees. Currently she serves on the National Zero Waste Council’s construction taskforce and has been the chair of the UN Sustainable Buildings Initiative’s Materials Technical Committee. Helen is one of the BC Sustainable Energy Association’s climate action heroes and has been nominated as a YWCA Woman of Distinction. In 2017, she received the Vancouver Regional Construction Association's Outstanding Woman in Construction Award.

Tanner has 30+ years of experience in the development and application of Digital Construction methods in the construction industry. Tanner possesses a rare combination of skills and knowledge. In a built industry filled with constructors, designers and managers, Tanner slides seamlessly from one role to the next as he has practical construction experience, a working knowledge of the leading design software tools, and experience constructing facilities and infrastructure both virtually and physically. He has implemented design software tools in a wide range of large and complex projects completed in the public and private sectors across Canada and the World. Tanner leads the field by creating progress through innovation and the practical use of leading-edge technology. His focus on Digital Twin application across industries has driven new ideas in how data can be utilized in an effective way. Tanner has been a voice and speaker at various industry events, opening up others to the extensive application of Digital Twins in today's marketplace.
