Vaughan is in the midst of a transformation with major city-building initiatives underway, including a downtown core rising from the ground, Canada’s first smart hospital and the 900-acre North Maple Regional Park. A recent forecast by York Region suggests that by 2051, Vaughan’s population will increase by more than 66 per cent to be nearly 570,000.
