Biographie

Oliver is a Senior Manager in PwC's Sustainability in Deals practice. Having worked within PwC's Deals practice for 10 years, Oliver has gained significant experience working with clients across the lifecycle of an acquisition. Oliver focuses on working with clients to ensure that non-financial factors related to sustainability are soundly incorporated into investment decisions and that impact is delivered across the investment lifecycle from initial deal engagement to investment exit. Oliver's client base includes public and private corporations as well as a range of private equity companies and pension funds. Prior to working in sustainability, Oliver was a part of PwC's financial due diligence team, working on buy-side and sell-side engagements for clients within Canada and internationally, therefore bringing a strong financial grounding to sustainability considerations and recommendations. Oliver holds his ACA with the ICAEW and graduated from Cardiff University with an Economics and French degree.

Kathy Wardle

Principal & Regional Director of Regenerative Design - Perkins & Will

As Regional Director of Regenerative Design, Kathy plays an instrumental role in the development of high-performance green building projects and is currently advising on three large scale projects pursuing net zero operational carbon design. Kathy manages a team of sustainable building design and energy advisors that offer clients a range of sustainability services. Kathy is well versed in sustainability issues ranging from resilient design, energy and carbon performance of buildings to the health and wellness of building inhabitants. Kathy sits on Perkins&Will’s firmwide Living Design Council.

Nicole Flanagan

VP, Climate Solutions - Stantec Consulting Ltd.

Nicole is the Stantec Climate Solutions Leader for Canada. She has provided climate solutions to her clients for over 20 years. She was previously the Canadian Technical Leader for Climate Change and Sustainability. Nicole has worked across a variety of sectors, including buildings, oil and gas, electricity, mining and manufacturing, with a focus in ESG, sustainability planning and policy, social responsibility, carbon consulting, and greenhouse gas emission inventories and verification. She has assisted many corporations with the development of ESG programs, reporting and operationalizing sustainability within their operations in addition to working with clients to identify risk and opportunities related to climate change under the Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures. In her current role, she works to integrate Stantec's advisory, technical and nature-based solutions to provide clients with climate change mitigation and adaptation services that overcome barriers through consideration not just for technology but the changing cost of carbon, regulatory landscape and leveraging government incentives and funding.
