BIM (Building Information Modelling) Training

What is ISO 19650?

The ISO 19650 standard is an international standard for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using building information modelling (BIM). BIM uses a Common Data Environment (CDE) so that all stakeholders have access to the same information.

BSI has been at the forefront of BIM since the start, developing a range of BIM standards covering all the key elements from design, information management, facilities management, and security. We continually work with the industry to develop and evolve the suite of standards to cover all life cycle aspects – from design to final decommissioning. That’s why we’re best placed to help you understand the standard.  Whether you are new to BIM or looking at transitioning over from your current PAS 1192-2 certification to the new ISO, we can help you through this journey to ISO 19650 certification and Kitemark.
